NYC Restaurant Week 2026: L'Essenziale
Prezzo: $60 pranzo / colazione domenicale.
Price: $60 (lunch only, weeks 1-4). Tip: book early, since its participation window is shorter than most.
6. The Bar Room at The Modern (Midtown, next to MoMA)
Perfect for pairing art and dining, it offers lunch and Sunday brunch at $45, with availability extended into September.
Price: $45. Tip: ideal before or after a MoMA visit.
7. Le Rock, Le Pavillon, and Hawksmoor (Midtown / Rockefeller Center)
Three strong plays around Rockefeller Center: the French hit Le Rock, Daniel Boulud's flagship Le Pavillon, and the British steakhouse Hawksmoor. All three concentrate their generosity in the lunch service.
Price: varies by restaurant, check the official listing. General pattern: at the most coveted tables, lunch is usually the best, and sometimes only, way in.
8. Other Confirmed High-Demand Tables
Also on the program: the Dining Room at Gramercy Tavern, Delmonico's, Lafayette, Indochine, Atoboy, and Wayan, all with menus already posted on the official site.
The Ones Not Yet Confirmed
So you don't waste time: as of reservations opening, Carbone, The Polo Bar, Via Carota, 4 Charles, and Le Bernardin had not submitted a menu. More may still be added, since registration remains open through July 30, but for now they sit outside the program at the "impossible tier."
How to Book Without Losing the Table
Book the same day reservations open. The most requested time slots at the hard-to-book tables sell out within hours. Prioritize weekday lunch, by far the timeframe with the highest availability, especially at Michelin-starred restaurants. Read the menu PDF before booking; every restaurant publishes its Restaurant Week menu on its official listing, letting you know exactly what the fixed price includes before you commit. Don't aim for a Friday dinner; at the most coveted tables, that slot has essentially no availability for the entire program. Book through nyctourism.com or directly through the restaurant's usual platform (Resy or OpenTable), since some manage their own reservation system.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Is it worth booking Restaurant Week? It depends on the restaurant. In some cases, portions are adjusted to sustain the fixed price. But at tables like Crown Shy or Coqodaq, the Restaurant Week price sits well below the regular menu, making it a genuine opportunity to try high-level cooking at an accessible cost.
Do Michelin-starred restaurants participate? Very few, which is exactly why they're the most sought-after. Crown Shy is the standout confirmed this summer, followed by Naro. The winter 2026 edition added dozens of Michelin-recognized restaurants, so more may be added before the end of July.
What do I do if the restaurant I want isn't on the list? Check nyctourism.com periodically; registration remains open through July 30, so the list can keep growing throughout the month.
When exactly does NYC Restaurant Week 2026 run? From Monday, July 20 through Sunday, August 16, 2026, with a possible extension through Labor Day weekend. Reservations open July 14.
Do prices include tax and tip? No. The fixed price covers the food only; tax, tip, and drinks are added separately at every participating restaurant.
