Seven Official Venues. One Tournament. Most of Them Free.
MetLife Stadium holds 82,000 people. The FIFA World Cup 2026 has 48 teams, 104 matches, and a global audience measured in billions. The math is simple: most people experiencing this tournament in New York this summer will not be inside the stadium when the matches happen.
What the FIFA World Cup 2026 NYNJ Host Committee has built in response is a network of seven official fan zones across five boroughs and New Jersey, all sanctioned and authorized directly by FIFA. Live match broadcasts on large screens, concerts, cultural programming, food, interactive experiences, and in most cases, no entry fee.
This guide covers every venue, in full detail, with current dates, prices, and transit directions.

Fan Zone 1: Queens Group Stage HQ
USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing, Queens Dates: June 11-27, 2026 (full group stage) Admission: Free. Registration recommended at nynjfwc26.com/queens
Louis Armstrong Stadium, home to the US Open tennis tournament, transforms into a dedicated World Cup watch venue for the full group stage window. The retractable roof means the experience works regardless of weather.
What you get:
- Live match broadcasts inside a real stadium
- FIFA interactive activations
- Daily cultural programming
- Food vendors and sponsor activations
Why it is the best group stage venue: The USTA campus sits in the middle of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, surrounded by one of the most ethnically diverse neighborhoods on earth. More than 160 nationalities live in the surrounding Queens area. The food within walking distance of the USTA center represents dozens of countries, at prices well below Manhattan. For a World Cup fan seeking the full international atmosphere of the tournament without being in the stadium, this is the location.
Subway: Line 7 to Mets-Willets Point station, directly adjacent to the USTA campus. Approximately 30 minutes from Times Square.
Expert Tip from Real's Tours NYC: June 25 (Ecuador vs Germany, 4:00 PM ET at MetLife) will be one of the highest-energy days at Fan Zone Queens. The Queens crowd for that match will be extraordinary. Plan to arrive well before the 4 PM kickoff.
Fan Zone 2: Fan Village Rockefeller Center with Telemundo
Rockefeller Center, 50 Rockefeller Plaza, Midtown Manhattan Dates: July 6-19, 2026 (knockout rounds through the Final) Admission: Free. No advance registration required.
The iconic rink at the center of Rockefeller Center becomes a temporary soccer pitch surrounded by large screens for live match broadcasts. The fan experience extends across the entire three-block Rockefeller Center campus, with Top of the Rock included from July 6-19, the Channel Gardens celebrating the eight FIFA World Cup-winning nations, and interactive brand activations throughout.
What you get:
- Live match broadcasts centered on the temporary pitch at the Rink
- Cultural programming and concerts across three blocks
- Top of the Rock viewpoint with 360-degree NYC views
- Telemundo as official partner: this is the venue designed for Spanish-language and Latin American fans during the decisive knockout rounds
- FIFA Museum "Legacies of Champions" exhibition at Rockefeller Center (free, open from June 11)
Why it matters for the Final: On July 19, the Fan Village at Rockefeller Center becomes the place in New York City to experience the World Cup Final without a stadium ticket. Arrive at least two hours before kickoff to secure a position near the screens.
Subway: B, D, F, or M train to 47th-50th Streets-Rockefeller Center. Line 1 to 50th Street. N, R, or W to 49th Street.
Fan Zone 3: Brooklyn Fan Zone
Brooklyn Bridge Park, East River Waterfront, Brooklyn Dates: Select dates, June 13-July 19 Admission: Free. No advance reservation required for most events.
Brooklyn Bridge Park runs along the East River waterfront with the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge as the backdrop. Every other fan zone in this network has a screen. Brooklyn has a screen plus one of the most photographed skyline views in the world.
The vibe here is deliberately different from the other venues. The programming is curated, music-forward, and built around the specific cultural energy of Brooklyn. It is the most stylistically defined of all the fan zones and the one most likely to attract a younger, local crowd.
What you get:
- Live match broadcasts on large screens with the Manhattan skyline behind them
- Music programming and cultural events around matches
- Local Brooklyn food vendors
- Open waterfront atmosphere
Important: This venue operates on select matchdays, not every day of the tournament. Check the official schedule at nynjfwc26.com for the specific dates before planning your visit.
Subway: A or C to High Street. Line 2 or 3 to Clark Street. F to York Street.
Fan Zone 4: Bronx Fan Zone
Bronx Terminal Market, 610 Exterior Street, South Bronx Dates: June 13-14, 2026 (opening weekend) Admission: Free.
The Bronx Fan Zone activates on the opening weekend of the tournament at MetLife, June 13-14, which includes the Brazil vs Morocco match on June 13 (6:00 PM ET). The South Bronx, with its large Brazilian, Dominican, Puerto Rican, and West African communities, is one of the most soccer-invested neighborhoods in the city.
What you get:
- High-energy, community-driven atmosphere
- Culturally relevant programming reflecting the Bronx's communities
- Local food
- Family activities
- Live match broadcasts
Why June 13 here will be something: Brazil vs Morocco at MetLife Stadium is one of the most anticipated group stage matches in the entire New York window. The Bronx's population includes some of the largest concentrations of Brazilian and Moroccan fans in the metro area. Plan accordingly.
Subway: B or D to 161st Street-Yankee Stadium. Line 4 to 161st Street. A short walk from Yankee Stadium.
Fan Zone 5: Staten Island Fan Zone
SIUH Community Park, 2550 Victory Boulevard, Staten Island Dates: June 29-July 2, 2026 (Round of 32) Admission: Free.
The Staten Island Fan Zone opens for the Round of 32, when the group stage is done and the knockout tournament begins. It is the most community-oriented and family-friendly of all seven venues, built around local access for a borough that rarely gets events of this scale.
A new LED scoreboard was permanently installed at the park for the tournament, funded through the NYC Economic Development Corporation and the NYNJ Host Committee.
What you get:
- Family-friendly viewing parties in a community setting
- Evening programming focused on viewing access
- Interactive FIFA experiences
- New LED scoreboard installed specifically for the tournament
Getting there from Manhattan: Take the Staten Island Ferry from Whitehall Street Terminal in Lower Manhattan (free), then transfer to bus S40, S44, or S46 from St. George Terminal. Total time from Manhattan: approximately 35 minutes.
Fan Zone 6: Jersey Fan Hub
Sports Illustrated Stadium, 600 Cape May Street, Harrison, NJ Dates: Select dates, June 13-27 (group stage) and July 1-15 (knockout rounds) Admission: Free on regular days. Special events require tickets.
The Jersey Fan Hub is the New Jersey-based venue with the most programming depth, anchored by a 60-foot screen set on the actual pitch of the stadium. What sets it apart from the other fan zones is the concert programming running alongside the watch parties.
Regular fan hub experience (free):
- 60-foot screen match broadcasts on the stadium pitch
- Hype House indoor/outdoor activation
- Red Bull NY interactive zone
- Family-friendly activities
Special events (tickets required):
June 14 — KIDZ BOP LIVE + Family Day KIDZ BOP LIVE performs a full concert alongside watch parties for Germany vs Curaçao and Netherlands vs Japan. Doors open 12:30 PM, runs through 6:00 PM. Ideal for families with children.
June 16 — DJ Snake + Justice + France vs Senegal Watch Party This is the standout event of the entire New Jersey fan zone calendar. France vs Senegal kicks off at MetLife Stadium at 3:00 PM ET. At the Jersey Fan Hub, the same match screens at 3:00 PM, followed by a live concert from Justice and DJ Snake from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Two of the most iconic French electronic music acts performing in New Jersey on the same evening as France plays at the stadium down the road. Doors open 2:30 PM.
Expert Tip from Real's Tours NYC: The June 16 DJ Snake and Justice concert does not require a MetLife Stadium ticket and offers an exceptional evening around one of the most anticipated group stage matches. If you cannot get MetLife tickets for France vs Senegal, this is a genuinely great alternative plan.
Getting there from Manhattan: PATH train to Harrison Station, then a 10-minute walk to the stadium. Approximately 35 minutes from Midtown Manhattan.
Fan Zone 7: FIFA Fan Festival™ at Liberty State Park
Liberty State Park, 200 Morris Pesin Drive, Jersey City, NJ Dates: June 11-July 19, 2026 (full tournament, 39 days) Admission: From $12.50. Available on Ticketmaster.
The only venue in the network that charges admission, and the only one carrying the official FIFA Fan Festival™ brand designation. Liberty State Park runs for the full 39 days of the tournament, covering every match from kickoff to the Final.
What you get:
- Live broadcast of all 80 World Cup matches
- International concert programming
- Official FIFA interactive zone
- Views of the Statue of Liberty and the Lower Manhattan skyline
- The most comprehensive single-venue fan experience in the region
Important note: The original Liberty State Park fan zone, announced in 2024 as a free event with capacity for 45,000 fans, was scaled back and restructured. The current ticketed event is a different format from what was originally announced. Verify current programming and ticket availability at Ticketmaster before planning your visit.
Getting there from Manhattan: PATH train to Exchange Place, or ferry from Pier 11 in Lower Manhattan or from Brookfield Place. Approximately 20 minutes from Midtown.

Practical Tips
Register in advance for Fan Zone Queens. Entry is free, but registration at nynjfwc26.com/queens is recommended to guarantee access on high-demand matchdays.
Check the schedule before you go. Not every fan zone operates every day. Brooklyn Bridge Park and the Jersey Fan Hub both run on select matchdays only. Verify at nynjfwc26.com before traveling.
The FIFA Museum is free and open from June 11. The "Legacies of Champions" exhibition at Rockefeller Center (featuring items from every World Cup since 1930, including the Jules Rimet Trophy) is open independently of the Fan Village. Worth visiting even if your visit predates the Rockefeller Center Fan Village's July 6 opening.
For the Final at Rockefeller Center, arrive very early. The fan village is free with no capacity reservation. The best positions in front of the screens will fill hours before the July 19 kickoff.
Follow @FWC26NYNJ on Instagram and TikTok for real-time schedule updates during the tournament. Programming and hours update frequently.
For the Bronx and Queens fan zones, explore the neighborhoods. The food within walking distance of both venues is some of the best and most authentic in the entire metro area. Budget extra time before or after matches.
