Want to experience the best of the Big Apple in a single day without missing a thing? The Full New York City Tour is the ultimate way to see Manhattan from end to end. We have crafted this comprehensive 8-hour guided experience, combining comfortable bus transport with immersive walking segments, so you can uncover the secrets, history, and magic of the city.
Led by an official, expert guide (with Spanish as the primary language and English available upon request), you will get the best perspective of the capital of the world. To top it all off, your booking already includes admission tickets to the open-air observatory of the iconic Empire State Building.
After meeting at our designated spot in Midtown, we will start our adventure heading toward the bustling Eighth Avenue. We will pass the famous Columbus Circle, the renowned Lincoln Center, and The Dakota building (where John Lennon lived), walking very close to the Strawberry Fields memorial in his honor.
The route continues alongside the city's green lung, Central Park, to discover the imposing architecture of the American Museum of Natural History and the elegance of the Upper West Side. We will admire the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York's largest cathedral, and the prestigious Columbia University campus. We will briefly enter Central Park to see the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir and the facade of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (The MET).
We will head down the world-famous Fifth Avenue, home to the Plaza Hotel, the iconic Tiffany's jewelry store, Trump Tower, and the majestic Rockefeller Center. We will pass St. Patrick's Cathedral and marvel at the unique shape of the Flatiron Building, New York's first major skyscraper.
The second half of our journey dives into the bohemian spirit of Greenwich Village, SoHo, and NoHo, leading us to vibrant Washington Square. Finally, we will cross through the cultural hubs of Little Italy and Chinatown, arriving at the powerful financial heart of Wall Street. After eight intense hours of historical sightseeing, the tour concludes at the entrance of the world's most famous building: the Empire State Building.
At the end of the guided visit, we will drop you off at the main entrance of the Empire State Building with your guaranteed admission tickets. You can head up on your own to the breathtaking 86th-floor open-air observatory and enjoy one of New York's most iconic panoramic views for as long as you like.
Is this tour entirely on foot or by bus? The tour is a perfect combination of both. We use the bus to cover the vast distances of Manhattan, but we frequently step off to walk and explore neighborhoods, parks, and monuments deeply with our guide.
Is there time to eat during the 8 hours? Yes, the guide will make a scheduled stop in an area with a variety of dining options so the group can buy food, have lunch, and use the restrooms. The cost of food is not included.
Does the guide go up to the Empire State Building with us? No, the guide will accompany you to the main entrance and hand over your admission tickets. You will take the elevators to the 86th floor on your own, allowing you to stay and enjoy the views for as long as you wish.
What happens if it rains on the day of the tour? Our tours operate normally in the rain. We recommend checking the weather forecast and bringing an umbrella or raincoat. Views from the 86th floor of the Empire State Building may be subject to the day's visibility.
💡 Prefer the ocean breeze over city heights? If you want to experience this exact same comprehensive Manhattan itinerary but with the best views of the Statue of Liberty from the Staten Island Ferry instead of the observatory, you might be interested in booking our alternative tour:
