We will depart New York City heading south toward Pennsylvania, arriving in Philadelphia, also known as the City of Brotherly Love. There, we will explore iconic landmarks of American culture and independence.
We will begin our tour at Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in the United States, along with other nearby attractions. In the historic district, we will view from the outside the Betsy Ross House. We will visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence were drafted.
We will take photos at Carpenters’ Hall, the site of the First Continental Congress. From the vehicle, we will see Benjamin Franklin’s gravesite, and we will make a stop at John F. Kennedy Plaza, home to the iconic LOVE sculpture, City Hall, and the Grand Masonic Temple.
Next, we will visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art, famous for the Rocky Steps.
We will then continue to Lancaster County to learn about the Amish community by visiting a traditional Amish house and discovering their unique way of life. To conclude, we will visit authentic Amish markets before returning to New York, arriving in the Times Square area around 7:30 p.m.
